13-year-old Angelina Oliynyk from Khmelnytskyi, urgently needs help!!! The girl has cancer - Ewing's sarcoma. This is a very aggressive type of tumor... The girl's disease appeared suddenly, it started with severe leg pain in the spring of 2021. The parents consulted a neurologist, and a CT scan of the lumbar spine was performed. Vertebral displacement and protrusion were detected, and injections and pills were prescribed. The pains subsided a little, and then they reappeared even stronger. They advised to go to Vinnytsia to rehabilitation centers. After three hours, the child developed a high temperature. And we, the parents, raised the alarm and realized that something was wrong, - the child's mother recalls with horror.
Then a general blood test was urgently carried out, which showed that the sedimentation rate of erythrocytes was exceeded by 5 times, so the child was sent for further examination. Another CT scan showed a neoplasm on the pelvic bone. An appeal to the National Cancer Institute confirmed the malignancy of the tumor. Since July, the girl has been treated in the pediatric oncology department at the National Cancer Institute.
Doctors in Ukraine were very afraid for Angelinka's life and decided to carry out further treatment abroad. Currently, the child has been transferred to a Turkish clinic. The bill for treatment is 190 thousand dollars.
"Ewing's sarcoma is a very insidious and incurable form of cancer. We are asking for help from all concerned people in collecting funds for further treatment, which costs a lot of money, because the girl's family is financially exhausted," Angelina's mother assures.
